Good news this past week for Get BrexFit which has been recommended by the iNews Group as one of the top business podcasts! Back to reality. Day after day we get dismal news about the business impact of Brexit. “Government fiddles about whilst the UK burns,” says Malcolm Gallagher in this Get BrexFit episode. He urges business leaders to leave behind the inertia of Brexit and use the opportunity of the new year of 2020 to energise their business. In his From the BrexFit Bunker piece, he proposes “leaving average” behind and going for what he calls a “stretch” goal. That’s a goal that may appear unachievable but better than the traditional incremental approach. On either side of the BrexFit Bunker item is Hugh’s News and Hugh’s View with Hugh Morgan-Willliams. In his news item, Hugh talks about Brexit has already cost the UK £70 BILLION pounds but more worrying may be the shortage of “pigs in blankets” for this Christmas. As usual, Hugh is to the point in Hugh’s View and says that puzzlingly no parties are yet appealing to the business vote.
